Reorganized anatomy department marks 70 (plus) years

Since its early years, when it was the Department of Anatomy, the UMMC Department of Advanced Biomedical Education has lengthened its name and its reach. Among its many new responsibilities is to serve as an academic home for faculty whose primary job is teaching. With a goal of 6,000 stories read, Children’s of Mississippi’s NICUs are competing for bragging rights in the international competition among NICUs. Last year, Children’s of Mississippi placed in the top 10 overall and first in its division.
