Visitors to the Mississippi Children’s Museum Saturday got health screenings to make sure they’ll be ready for classes in August. The Back-to-School Health Rally, funded by the Child Health Development Project and organized by the Children’s of Mississippi Center for Children with Medical Complexity, included fire and safety education, ideas for healthy eating and activities, physical assessments and dental, developmental, vision and hearing screenings. The first 300 participants also received backpacks.
