Friends of Children's Hospital plans for BankPlus presents, Enchanted Evening

JACKSON, Miss.—Friends of Children’s Hospital announced plans for its annual BankPlus Presents, Enchanted Evening gala scheduled for Saturday, August 16 from 7:00-10:30 p.m. in the Telecom Center at the Jackson Convention Center downtown.

The event features entertainment by 2 Hypnotic, fine food and libations, and a silent auction featuring select art and fabulous items.  Tickets are $100 per person or $60 per person for young professionals (35 & under) and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling the Friends office at 601-984-5273 or visiting www.FOCH.org. Proceeds from the event benefit Friends of Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Heart Center at Batson Children’s Hospital.

“BankPlus Presents, Enchanted Evening is the signature fundraising event for Friends.  We have committed to raising $2 million during a five-year campaign for the Children’s Heart Center at Batson Children’s Hospital.  This is the third year of our commitment and we are excited to show our donors the wonderful things happening at Batson Children’s Hospital and further promote the expansion plans for the Children’s Heart Center at the gala,” said Leigh Reeves, president of the Friends board. “We are looking forward to a large crowd and are very appreciative to all the sponsors and supporters of this great event.”

The silent auction will feature works by sought-after artists including: Bill Dunlap, Andrew Bucci, Lisa Paris, Dr. Bev Evans and Blanche Batson as well as items from the south’s finest vendors including: Lee Michael’s Fine Jewelry, Treehouse Boutique, Friend and Company, Kat’s Wine Cellar, Aqua the Day Spa and more.
