Medical Center Matters: Introducing the newsletter formerly named eCV

Welcome to our first issue of Medical Center Matters. This refreshed newsletter replaces eCV, which launched as the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s first electronic newsletter in 2014.

The name Medical Center Matters reflects not just storytelling about the achievements and people that make UMMC great but also the importance of the institution in the lives of Mississippians’ health and well-being. The weekly publication will keep the stories about our three-part mission, the people who work and learn here and the popular features of service anniversaries and new faculty.

We will incorporate new monthly articles of interest from the Department of Human Resources, UMMC historical achievements and our work in helping the communities we serve.

Most importantly, there’s an opportunity to hear from our readers over the next few weeks through a readership survey. We want to know what stories matter to you. Find more information on how to do that in this newsletter and who knows, you could win a cup of coffee for your thoughts.
