Video: The sound of Alzheimer's Stories

Music and the mind share a special connection. Later this month, the Mississippi Chorus will explore that bond through the special concert event “Alzheimer’s Stories.” The three-part piece tells the story of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia through song. Sponsored in part by the MIND Center at UMMC, concert proceeds will benefit research, clinical care and caregiver support in Mississippi.
What: The Mississippi Chorus presents “Alzheimer’s Stories,” a choral performance benefiting Alzheimer’s research, clinical care and caregiver support.
Who: The Mississippi Chorus, sponsored by the MIND Center, the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s Mississippi, St. Dominic’s and the Mississippi Division of Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementia.
When and Where:
Friday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m., Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Jackson.
Saturday, October 28 at 3:00 p.m., Bologna Performing Arts Center in Cleveland
Sunday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m., the Link Centre in Tupelo
Cost: $10 Adults, Children 12 and under free
