Business magazine places Medical Center on Best-In-State Employers list

Forbes magazine ranked the University of Mississippi Medical Center as one of America’s Best-In-State Employers for 2024 and as the highest-rated health care institution in the state on that list.

In partnership with market research firm Statista, Forbes surveyed more than 160,000 employees working for companies with at least 500 people within the U.S.

Those surveyed recommended their employer on a scale of zero to 10 and were also asked to evaluate employers they had worked for within the past two years, along with other organizations they knew about within their industry.

In Mississippi, UMMC is ranked 11th as a Best-In-State Employer and was first among all other institutions in the category, Healthcare & Social Services.
