MIND Center director to discuss findings on brain aging

JACKSON, Miss. – Dr. Thomas Mosley, Billy S. Guyton Distinguished Professor and director of The MIND Center, will give a talk, “Brain Aging:  Insights from Population-Based Studies at UMMC,” on Friday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. in Classroom 7A, located in the original UMMC Hospital building. It is free and open to the public.

Through his decades of innovative research, Dr. Mosley has become an internationally recognized expert in brain aging and cognitive decline. The lecture is part of the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior’s grand rounds.

Members of the public may park in Garage A, walk behind the School of Nursing building and enter the School of Medicine. Turn immediately left through the sliding glass doors then right to the elevators at the back of the building. Proceed to floor seven and follow the signs to Classroom 7A.
