Respiratory Nebulizer Order Changes

Frequency quick buttons allow providers to see commonly used selections as buttons. The quick buttons have been updated to reflect the most commonly used frequencies for nebulizer orders. The magnifying glass can be used to choose from a longer list of choices. 

Nebulizer treatments can now ONLY be ordered in an order panel. Defaults are set in most panels to have the medication and treatment frequencies match. If a frequency is changed for one, be sure that both the nebulizer and medication have the same frequency to avoid confusion and prevent calls for order clarification. A reminder message has been added to help make sure the frequencies match within the panel. 

There are a few nebulizer panels that do not have defaults and will require providers to select frequencies. A reminder message has also been added to these panels to ensure the medication and nebulizer order frequencies match.
