Assigning Cost Center Roles

Cost Center Owners are responsible for determining cost center role assignments for their cost center. Most roles can be assigned directly in Workday by the cost center owner by following the instructions in  this learning resource

To assign the Cost Center Requester role to an individual, the Cost Center Owner must submit a Help Desk ticket indicating the role requested, employee name and id of the person receiving the role. The requester must have completed Workday Purchase Requisition training (WD 111) before the Help Desk ticket is submitted. The WD 111: Purchase Requisition eLearning can be found in the HealthStream catalog.

Remember:

If you are a Recruiter or Recruiter Data Entry Role, you must complete WDS 101. 

Individuals serving as admission committee members or chairs for all programs (except MD and DMD) must complete WDS 102B. 

For access to the requester role in Workday, you must complete WDS 111.
