Recently, the HR Service Center tested and has implemented a Hire Business Process efficiency. For a number of years, hiring managers were required to receive all approvals to hire a new worker by noon on the Wednesday before their scheduled Monday start date. With our move to Workday, new hires may now be completed (all approvals obtained) by noon the Thursday before the desired Monday start date. The new employee orientation distribution list will continue each Thursday.

We have a new certification approval step for managers. After your employee enters their certification, you will receive an Inbox task to review the document. You will need to review the document for accuracy and attach primary source verification documentation for those with a license, registry, or certification that would be required to function in their role. Please refer to the following learning resource on how to complete the certification process: Update Certification
