Starting in 2023 Payors will require patient supplied medications administered in an outpatient clinic to have an NDC. In order to facilitate that requirement, all patient supplied medications given in a clinic will have a hard stop requiring an NDC be listed on the MAR. If the NDC is not listed, select the closest code segments to the product's NDC.
