Beginning Monday, August 14, 2023, all isolation precaution orders will be deprecated, and updates to a patients isolation status must be made using the Isolations and Infections Activity. With the implementation of Bugsy, there is no longer a need to place isolation orders. 

The activity can be accessed from the Storyboard (located above the Attending's name): 

... or from the Isolation and Infection Instructions section of the index report. The isolation status can be updated by simply clicking the hyperlink to add or remove an isolation: 

Please note: There will no longer be any Best Practice Advisories to suggest an appropriate isolation status, so it will be important that required or suggested Isolation Updates are addressed in a timely manner.
