Naloxone Infusion OrdersA naloxone infusion panel has been created. This panel was created in an effort to eliminate errors when ordering a naloxone infusion for 2 indications: - Opioid Reversal
- Opioid-Induced Pruritis (Low dose)
When ordering a naloxone infusion, it will appear as "Naloxone infusion panel" in managed orders (see below). ![](https://www.umc.edu/DIS-Newsletters/images/images_2023/april_images_folder_2023/nalxone image pp 3.31.23.png)

When the appropriate infusion is selected, the appropriate dosing is defaulted for the respective indication. Opioid Reversal: ![](https://www.umc.edu/DIS-Newsletters/images/images_2023/april_images_folder_2023/opioid reversal image pp 3.31.23.png)
