Clinical dashboards are highly customizable workspaces that help monitor and analyze many aspects of patient care and system proficiency.

With the Dental Student Dashboard, students can easily view their own data and access reports. To open your Dashboard, click on your Dashboard tile and your dashboard will appear.

Health Maintenance (HM) is Epic's main tool for monitoring and addressing patient care gaps. It is a widely applicable clinical decision support tool used to remind patients (and their providers) of their preventative care needs. 

Specific topics within Health Maintenance, such as Dental Recall or Dental X-Ray, are each configured with a reminder frequency and are satisfied automatically when procedures are completed in Epic. That means as you complete procedures in the dental treatment plan, patients' Health Maintenance topics are updated automatically.
