"Build Freeze" this week to Prep for Upgrade

On Sunday, November 3, Daylight Saving Time will end, and Epic will be unavailable from 12:55 a.m. until 2:05 a.m. due to the time change. We'll also use this downtime to conduct our Quarterly Epic Upgrade.

In preparation for this upgrade, our team will enter a "transparent lockdown" or "Build Freeze" period this week to update data behind-the-scenes that allows you to continue using the system this week. However, some features in Epic will be unavailable.

While this "Build Freeze" is temporary, the following features will be unavailable this week (starting October 28) until we begin the upgrade on November 3:

Applying filters in Chart Review
Applying filters in workqueues
Creating or editing SmartPhrases and SmartLinks
Creating or editing dashboards
Creating, Editing, and Sharing Notewriter Macros
Creating or editing QuickActions
Saving SlicerDicer Sessions
Moving Activities to a Sidebar or Floating Window
