Update to C-Diff Order Validation
C-Diff Order Validation (originally implemented November 5, 2018) has been updated with additional exclusions for ordering C.difficile PCR. In addition to patients with a laxative administered within the last 48 hours and patients less than two years old, users will not be allowed to sign this order for patients with tube feeding orders or with an ileostomy:
