Medication (MAR) Chart Correction

Medications should be documented at the time of administration. In the event a medication is not documented appropriately at the time of administration, the nurse can update the medication administration details within 72 hours of original administration.

Outside of the 72 hour window, please contact the HIM department by phone at 601-815-8734 to set up an appointment.

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, to make changes on the designated HIM workstation. Established Epic workstations are located in room MD109 at JMM and in room N173 on the Main Campus.

End Users will log in using their credentials and follow the workflow that is provided.

If you are not located at the Jackson Campus, please contact the HIM department and they will coordinate with DIS to facilitate the chart correction.
