LDA (Line Drains and Airway) Standardization: Phase One Lines

To improve the quality and completeness of line documentation, all lines were recently evaluated.

The nursing informatics committee made the following recommendations for changes to the property and assessment rows for all lines:

Lines have been consolidated, so you will no longer search for "age" or department-specific lines.
There will be one of each type line (CVC, PICC, midline etc.).
The "To Be Retired" lines may show as an option, but these should not be used.

Inpatient nurses may find that a current line they are using may fall to the bottom of the flowsheet template.
