UMMC Cyberattack Update
February 21, 2026
Medical Center teams continue to respond to our recent cyberattack alongside federal and state agencies and experts in cybersecurity.
Clinics statewide will be closed on Monday and Tuesday and elective procedures on those days are cancelled. Appointments will be rescheduled when possible.
All UMMC hospitals and Emergency Departments in Jackson, Grenada, Madison County and Holmes County remain open.
In-person classes remain as scheduled.
UMMC personnel should continue to report to work as scheduled.
