Faculty/Staff Performance Evaluation Cycle Now Open

SUBJECT: Faculty/Staff Performance Evaluation Cycle Now Open
Annual employee performance evaluations are essential tools to create a culture of meaningful feedback that inspires every person associated with an organization to make contributions that help drive success and to reach our full capabilities. I am excited to share that UMMC’s fall 2021 performance evaluation cycle for faculty and staff is now open.
Evaluations will be conducted online using Halogen, our performance management system, and have a completion deadline of Dec. 31, 2021.
A short HealthStream course has been assigned to all employees who are expected to participate in the cycle that will help you prepare for this essential task. You are required to complete the HealthStream training module, which provides important information such as who is included in the evaluation cycle, important deadlines and how to access the evaluation system in Halogen.
Additionally, the Performance Evaluation page found in the Human Resources Intranet site contains other helpful materials including tip sheets for providing meaningful feedback, conducting the performance review meeting and rating employees, job aids to guide you through the different Halogen steps, and a feedback checklist.
If you have not already done so, I encourage you to soon complete the HealthStream course, which takes less than 10 minutes.
