Virtual Town Hall Meeting – Healthier Mississippi People
March 24, 2021
TO:All Faculty, Staff and Students
FROM:Dr. LouAnn Woodward, Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs
SUBJECT: Virtual Town Hall Meeting – Healthier Mississippi People
At 10:30 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, March 25), I will host a virtual town hall meeting that will livestream on YouTube.
The topic for the event will be the Medical Center’s new staffing partner, Healthier Mississippi People, LLC. Dr. Alan Jones, associate vice chancellor for clinical affairs, announced our engagement with HMP in a March 18 Campus Memo that can be found here.
Joining me to discuss HMP and how it will impact UMMC employee recruitment and retention, especially in clinical areas, and to answer topical questions employees submit ahead of time will be Dr. Jones and Molly Brasfield, chief human resources officer.
You can submit questions during the livestream through YouTube’s chat function. You must log in to a free YouTube account to use this feature. Questions can also be submitted to my VC Notes inbox here anytime until 10 a.m. Thursday.
The link to watch Thursday’s livestream can be found here. If you cannot watch the event live, you will be able to watch it on YouTube afterwards using the same link.
Thank you.
