Parking in non-UMMC designated areas
Thursday, June 8, 2023
TO: All UMMC Personnel and Students
FROM: Dr. Jonathan Wilson, Chief Administrative Officer
SUBJECT: Parking in non-UMMC designated areas
UMMC faculty, staff and students are expected to park in only UMMC-designated parking areas at all times. Parking on city of Jackson streets in Fondren or across Woodrow Wilson near Murrah High School is not advised, and individuals choosing to improperly park in these areas do so at their own risk.
We have been notified that beginning Monday, June 12, both Capitol Police and Jackson Police Department will be issuing citations for vehicles parked improperly in these areas.
Additional information on UMMC-designated parking areas can be found here.
Thank you.
