JSU Football Camp to Impact Stadium Parking
June 14, 2021
TO:All Jackson-based Faculty, Staff and Students
FROM:Dr. Jonathan Wilson, Chief Administrative Officer
SUBJECT: JSU Football Camp to Impact Stadium Parking
Jackson State University is scheduled to host the first JSU Primetime Football Camp at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 18, at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium. Participants in the camp will be directed to park in the stadium’s Overflow Lot, the large lot on the northwest side of the stadium parking area, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Traffic around the stadium is expected to increase at that time.
UMMC employees and students should avoid parking in the Overflow Lot that day. Instead, they may park in Lot C to the immediate northwest of the stadium or in Lot D to the immediate southwest of the stadium.
UMMC shuttle bus routes will not be impacted by this temporary parking adjustment. For more information, email parking@umc.edu.
Thank you.
