Empowering student voices

At the John D. Bower School of Population Health, student engagement and leadership are key components of the school’s mission to cultivate the next generation of population health scientists and practitioners. Through active involvement in student government, class representation, and ambassador roles, SOPH students strengthen community, collaboration, and professional development across programs.

Leading the way in 2025 are Vice-President Torrey Robinson and President Sachin Karki, who serve as student body leaders representing the collective voice of SOPH students. Their leadership ensures that student perspectives remain central to school initiatives, events, and committee discussions.
