Research Day 2024

On Friday, April 26, 2024, the John D. Bower School of Population Health hosted the 2nd annual School of Population Health Research Day. From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 23 oral abstracts were presented by faculty, master's, and doctoral students in the programs offered by the departments of population health science and biostatistics and data science, in addition to research by the residents from the Department of Preventive Medicine. The topics spanned metabolic disease, pregnancy, and stroke to gun violence and the ongoing work on the Asylum Hill Project. The luncheon was catered by Nick Wallace Catering.

Numerous attendees remarked at the conclusion at the event that they had no idea at the breadth of Population Health research being performed at the John D. Bower School of Population Health. The event was chaired by Drs. Abigail Gamble and Bernadette Grayson.  Gratitude is extended to all presenters for making this a fantastic event. We look forward to the 3rd annual Research Day in the spring of 2025.
