Mississippi Population Oral Health Collaborative (MPOHC)

Mission

Welcome to the Mississippi Population Oral Health Collaborative (MPOHC). We envision a world where everyone, regardless of circumstance, can thrive with a healthy smile. We imagine a reality where no child misses school due to a toothache.

At MPOHC, we're committed to realizing this vision through a strategic approach focused on five pillars:

  • reducing childhood tooth decay
  • preventing head and neck cancer
  • providing dental care for the elderly
  • supporting the underserved and vulnerable populations
  • serving as the premier source of oral health information

Our strategy involves establishing a portfolio of replicable oral health initiatives to systematically decrease disease burden and enhance patient care not only across Mississippi, but also on a national and global scale. We aim to collaborate with state and national partners to implement, replicate, and scale impactful programs, with the ultimate goal of sharing our learnings with the world. Join us in building a future where everyone can confidently share their smile with the world.
