Weekly conferences

  • Selected readings (Thursday, 6:30-7 a.m.)
  • Academic conference (Thursday, 7-8 a.m.)
  • Grand Rounds
  • Clinical pathology conference
  • Anesthesia conference
  • Dentofacial deformity
  • Mortality and morbidity conference
  • Clinical conference (Thursday, 8-9 a.m.)
  • Journal Club (Thursday, 5-6:30 p.m.)
  • MF trauma conference / tumor board / craniofacial conference

Academic conferences

  • Grand Rounds - 1st week of month (7-8 a.m.)
  • Pathology - 2nd week of month.  Chief residents assign each junior resident one case to present (7-8 a.m.)
  • Anesthesia - 3rd week of month (7-8 a.m.)
  • DFD – 4th week of month (7-8 a.m.)
  • Journal Club – 4th week of month, off-site location, (5-6:30 p.m.)
  • Tumor board – Upper level resident prepared and presents cases succinctly at the tumor board.
  • Craniofacial conference – Resident who sees CF clinic patients will present the findings and recommendations as well as coordinate with other services.
  • Maxillofacial trauma - Interdisciplinary conference with ENT, plastics
