Diversity and Inclusion Champion Professional Development and Certificate Program

The Champion Professional Development and Certificate Program includes learning on foundational and advanced concepts essential to skill-building, cultural competency, and creating inclusive work and learning environments. Participants will engage in online learning, consultations with leaders and subject matter experts, and will receive important tools to support their job functions to build and sustain a more inclusive climate.

Digital credentials will be issued to highlight professional development competency levels. Participants must agree to complete all 10 levels of the online component. The mastery credential requires a new workplace application, practice, or initiative designed to influence change within the institution. The mastery level credential is optional but strongly encouraged. At the conclusion of the program, participants will be widely recognized for this outstanding accomplishment. A complete transcript will also be available to the participant. The program is open to UMMC employees only.
