Hallmarks of Cancer welcomes Dr. Huiping Liu

CCRI’s Hallmarks of Cancer seminar series welcomed Dr. Huiping Liu, director of the Breast Cancer Research Program at Northwestern Lurie Cancer Center and scientific director of the Circulating Tumor Cell Core, July 22. 

The program “AI-accelerated Elucidation and Targeting of Circulating Tumor-Immune Ecosystems” presented information on: 

  • How AI and machine learning approaches can be applied to analyze circulating tumor cells and tumor immune interactions in the peripheral blood ecosystem. 
  • Evaluating emerging computational and multi-omics strategies for elucidating the dynamic crosstalk between tumor cells and immune components during metastasis. 
  • Identifying potential therapeutic opportunities and biomarkers derived from AI-driven insights into circulating tumor-immune ecosystems.
