Hallmarks of Cancer welcomes Dr. Natasha Kyprianou

The first Hallmarks of Cancer lecture in 2026 featured Dr. Natasha Kyprianou, professor and vice chair for basic science research in urology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. An internationally recognized leader in prostate cancer research, her work focuses on TGF-β signaling, therapeutic resistance and novel treatments. She has authored more than 400 publications and mentored numerous trainees.
The title of her presentation was “Phenotypic Reprogramming Overcomes Therapeutic Resistance in Advanced Prostate Cancer.”
