2024 MS Lung Cancer Roundtable Annual Meeting

Dr. Pierre de Delva, division chief of General Thoracic Surgery and chair of the MS Lung Cancer Roundtable, will speak at the 2024 Annual Meeting. This event will focus on advancing early detection and improving lung cancer care in our state. Attendees will gain valuable insights and collaborate on innovative strategies to combat this challenging disease.

The event will take place on Nov. 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sheraton Refuge and Conference Center in Flowood, Mississippi. For more information, contact the Mississippi Lung Cancer Roundtable. 

Registration open for free lung cancer screenings for qualifying participants

Registration is now open for its free lung cancer screening event on Saturday, Nov, 9. for qualifying uninsured and underinsured participants. Screenings will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Cancer Center and Research Institute located in the Jackson Medical Mall.
