Confidential Disclosure Agreement
Definition
- A confidential disclosure agreement (CDA), also called a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), is a contract between the study sponsor and the institution that governs the access and use of confidential information, which includes the study protocol and other proprietary business or scientific information.
Policies/guidelines
- Investigators and other study staff are not authorized UMMC signatories.
- CDAs and NDAs related to a clinical research study are negotiated and signed by the Office of Clinical Trials. Upon receipt, send all clinical study-related CDAs and NDAs to clinicaltrials@umc.edu.
