Update from the Oxford Instructional Site

Greetings from Oxford!

With one cohort graduating and a new cohort beginning, excitement is in the air! We are thrilled to see a strong finish by the Class of 2023 students and their outstanding employment opportunities across the nursing workforce. We wish them well as they begin their professional nursing journey and cannot wait to hear of the positive impact they have on their patients, organizations and the nursing profession.

We are happy to announce the addition of new faculty members at the Oxford instructional site. Lacey Gentry, MSN, RN, CNE joins the team as a strong nurse leader with a wealth of nursing education, clinical practice and programmatic administration acumen, which will be key in her role as program director and assistant professor for the Oxford Accelerated BSN program. Lacy Hester, MSN, RN joins as a didactic and clinical instructor bringing rich clinical practice, management and teaching experience. Tara Price, DNP, WHNP-BC, CNS transfers to the Oxford ABSN team from the Jackson Traditional BSN team as an assistant professor, bringing a wealth of didactic and clinical knowledge and the biggest Ole Miss team spirit we could ever hope for… Hotty Toddy!
