A new 106,000-square-foot home for UMMC’s School of Nursing will soon be under construction. The state-of-the-art facility will include the needed laboratory and classroom space to increase the school’s enrollment by 25 percent.
Dr. Chelsey Andries and Hannah Hogg were selected through a competitive application process as participants in the National League for Nursing’s (NLN) 2023 Leadership Institute. The NLN Leadership Institute provides exceptional learning opportunities for nurse leaders in various positions.
Current and past students are valuable recruiting resources. The summer months give students unique opportunities to recruit high schoolers due to a different class schedule. The schedule change allows time to volunteer and earn service learning hours for some of our students that may not be available at other times throughout the year. This benefits our students as well as the prospective students.
