This time of year is filled with enthusiasm and new beginnings as students return to school or start new programs. At the SON, the faculty and staff are excited to welcome everyone back.
Dr. Joe Tacy, associate professor of nursing and associate dean for academic affairs in the School of Nursing, was selected to attend the American Association of Colleges of Nursing-Wharton Executive Leadership Program Aug. 1-4 in Philadelphia.
Dr. Audwin Fletcher, professor of nursing and assistant dean for graduate programs in the School of Nursing at UMMC, is a fellow of the Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing (ELAN) program of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. Dr. Fletcher also serves as director of the SON's Adult-Gerontology Acute Care and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care nurse practitioner tracks.
The School of Nursing Faculty Scholarship web page is designed to share the news of faculty research and scholarship accomplishments in nursing including publications, grants, and poster and podium presentations. This web page is updated quarterly and submissions can be sent to the Office of Research and Scholarship.
