The School of Nursing’s online MSN program holds the highest U.S. News & World Report ranking for any online MSN program in the state. This year’s ranking reflects a rise of five percentage points since 2022.

2023 has really kicked off with recruiting! The last weekend of January, the School of Nursing participated in the School of Medicine’s recruitment event for high school students, "Exploring Healthcare Pathways," and February proves to be an even busier month.
UMMC SON welcomed 67 new students to Jackson’s Accelerated BSN program this year. Accelerated BSN programs are made for students who decide to become a nurse after completing a non-nursing bachelor’s degree. Thirteen former educators chose the ABSN program as the place to begin their path to a new career as a nurse.
