A large banner behind the table reads, “GWIMS: Group on Women in Medicine and Science, University of Mississippi Medical Center,” and includes the organization’s mission statement. The tablecloth is branded with the GWIMS name and University of Mississippi Medical Center affiliation, while attendees and display booths are visible in the background of a conference or event space.At large members include faculty members, residents, students, post-doctoral fellows, and administrative personnel and staff from all schools at UMMC. At large members should be interested in promoting advancement of women and supporting GWIMS goals.
