IRB meetings begin at 4 p.m. (Board 1) and 2 p.m. (Board 2) in the Conerly Conference Room, U020-16, Learning Resource Center.
Studies that qualify for exemption or expedited review will not go to a convened board meeting and may be submitted at any time.
If your submission requires convened review, we encourage you to contact the Human Research Office and make an appointment to be present during the IRB meeting discussion, if you wish to do so.
Initial submissions should be submitted via the Velos eResearch system. If your initial submission was approved in Velos, you may also submit any amendments, continuing reviews, problem reports, and closeouts in Velos.
Continuing reviews for studies approved in Ideate or RedCap should be submitted in RedCap until after June 1, 2021. Amendments and Closeouts for studies approved in Ideate or RedCap should be submitted in RedCap until after July 1.

** There is a limit to the number of initial applications that are reviewed at each meeting. Applications received prior to the submission deadline but after the limit has been reached will automatically be assigned to the next scheduled board meeting.
