Research

The Center for Sialendoscopy and Salivary Gland Disorders is involved in a variety of research projects that attempt to answer questions about the causes of salivary gland diseases and the way they affect patients’ quality of life.

The study of cost-effective treatments for salivary gland disease is another area of active research with regard to sialendoscopy. Since sialendoscopy is a relatively new technique, we are interested in evaluating its effectiveness as compared to more traditional techniques.
