Welcome to the School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences, where our mission is to train the next generation of biomedical researchers and educators.
The School of Graduate Studies offers 13 educational programs, and our active and diverse graduate community includes approximately 300 students and post-doctoral trainees. With more than 200 graduate faculty involved in groundbreaking research in basic and clinical sciences of human diseases such as Alzheimer’s, cardiovascular and renal diseases, cancer, dementia, obesity, diabetes, and infectious disease, our students are prepared for challenging and rewarding careers. Graduates of our programs have become successful researchers in both the public and private sectors, leaders in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, and distinguished educators across the country.
The School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences values community, integrity, professionalism, and excellence. Not only do we provide an exceptional training environment, but we also offer numerous opportunities for professional development, leadership, outreach, and service.
