The Wolbachia Rodeo is a molecular biology competition using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Students and biotechnology teachers from Central Mississippi high Schools determine the prevalence of the bacteria Wolbachia in Mississippi ants, fleas and mosquitoes by uniting research potential at multiple schools.
