Committee Members and Charge
Curriculum Change Process
The faculty member will create the proposal which must include:
- Course Proposal Form
- Course Syllabus in SGSHS format
- Faculty Qualifications Form
- The faculty member must submit the proposal to the Program Director for approval.
- The Program Director will submit the proposal to SGSHS Curriculum Committee for review and recommendation.
- Following committee approval, the Curriculum Committee Chair will submit a recommendation to the Graduate Council for recommendation to the Dean.
- The Graduate School Dean will then approve or deny the recommendation.
- The Curriculum Committee Chair will then notify the Program Director and/or SGSHS faculty of approval or denial of curricular change.
Items to submit for curricular review:
- Curricular change form
- Course Syllabus in SGSHS format
- Faculty Qualifications Form
- Letter of Program Director approval
