Scientific Advisory Board (SAB)
The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is a group of faculty and scientists who conduct research, including clinical trials, population-based research studies, and program implementation/evaluation with a special focus on health disparities and social determinants of health.
The members of the SAB:
- Serve as faculty ambassadors for the Myrlie Evers-Williams Institute for the Elimination of Health Disparities
- Encourage other researchers to consider community engagement and health disparities research
- Collaborate and provide consultation on health disparities research and publications
- Communicate the need for funding and access to data
