Traveling Fellowship
As we advance hand surgery care for patients, the Hand Center also pursues the vision of those for whom our Center is named. Drs. Michael Jabaley and Somprasong Songcharoen shared a desire to perpetuate world-class teaching, education, research and hand surgery innovation in Mississippi.
To that end, the Hand Center has established an international travelling fellowship that allows hand surgeons anywhere in the world to apply for our one- to two-month exchange program at UMMC. Likewise, UMMC surgeons, residents and fellows can travel internationally to learn and support patients around the world.
