Maternal and Reproductive Health Community Advisory Board invites investigators to share work and receive community-informed feedback

The Myrlie Evers-Williams Institute for the Elimination of Health Disparities Maternal and Reproductive Health Community Advisory Board (MEWI MRH-CAB) is helping strengthen research, programming and policy efforts that address maternal, reproductive and perinatal behavioral health disparities across Mississippi.

The MRH-CAB brings investigators and community experts together in a collaborative space designed to make health equity work more responsive, relevant and impactful. Through monthly virtual meetings, board members offer guidance rooted in research expertise, lived experience, community engagement and direct service across Mississippi.

MEWI is currently inviting investigators to serve as guest presenters during upcoming MRH-CAB meetings. Guest presenters may share research, programming, evaluation or policy work related to maternal and reproductive health and receive meaningful feedback from a multidisciplinary group of community and academic partners. This feedback can help investigators refine their approach, strengthen community engagement and expand the reach of their work.

The MRH-CAB meets virtually on the first Friday of each month at noon.
