Trebia Rodgers, Public Safety Communications Manager
With over 30 years of experience in emergency services, Trebia Rodgers is a dedicated and highly skilled professional in the field of emergency management and telecommunications. As a BETST Certified Telecommunicator Instructor, Trebia has trained countless professionals in multiple critical response areas, ensuring excellence in emergency communications.
A Mississippi Certified Emergency Manager since 1998, Trebia has played a key role in responding to some of the most significant disasters in modern history, including Hurricane Andrew (1992), the Ice Storm of 1994, Hurricane Katrina (2005), and the Mississippi Flood in 2019. Her extensive experience in crisis response has made them a trusted leader in the field.
Trebia’s leadership has been recognized through multiple awards, including the Mississippi Emergency Management Director’s Award for Excellence in November 2024, and the Board of Emergency Telecommunicators Standards and Training Award in March 2001. As the former Grenada County EMA & 911 Director, she played a vital role in improving emergency response operations and community preparedness.
She currently serves on the Commercial Mobile Radio Service Board, appointed by Governor Tate Reeves, and is an active member of the MS 911 Coordinators Board. Additionally, she has served multiple terms on the Mississippi Civil Defense/Emergency Management Association Board, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing emergency management standards across the state.
With a lifelong dedication to public safety and emergency preparedness, Trebia continues to contribute to the profession, shaping the next generation of emergency responders and ensuring communities are equipped to handle crises effectively.
