General Purpose Storage Services at UMMC

These are general purpose storage options that are available campus wide to UMMC.

Service	Cost/Annual	Notes
OneDrive (Office 365)	Free for up to 1TB	Integrates well with other Office 365 services (Outlook, Office, etc). Is remotely accessible and files may be shared with others. Intended to be used for individual storage needs.
Microsoft SharePoint Online	Free for up to 20TB	Integrates well with other Office 365 services (Outlook, Office, etc). Is remotely accessible. Intended to be used by groups to collaborate on data sets.
SSD Direct Attach Block Storage EMC XtremIO	$4,888 per TB	This is storage that would be directly attached to a virtual or physical server. This storage has maximized throughput speeds for the fastest possible response.
Standard Direct Attach Block Storage EMC Unity	$2,000 per TB	This is storage that would be directly attached to a virtual or physical server. This storage is for general purpose server storage.
Network Attached Storage EMC Isilon	$1,475 per TB	This is storage that would be attached to a server or workstation using CFIS (Windows Protocol) or NFS (Linux Protocol).

General Purpose Backup Services at UMMC

These are general purpose storage options that are available campus wide to UMMC.

Service	Cost/Annual	Notes
Local Backup – High Availability	$1,100 per TB	This is backup of existing data in the primary datacenter for local recovery. Data retention is 30 days.
DR/Local Backup	$2,000 per TB	This is backup of existing data in the primary datacenter and replicated to the UMMC DR data center. Data retention would be 30 days in primary and 15 days in DR.
