Research Computing and Bioinformatics Core Facility Home
The UMMC Research Computing and Bioinformatics Core Facility provides comprehensive computational and analytical support to researchers across the institution and region. We specialize in the analysis and interpretation of high-throughput sequencing data, multi-omics integration, and advanced statistical methodologies to support cutting-edge biomedical research.
As modern biomedical research increasingly relies on large-scale data generation and computational analysis, the RCBCF serves as a critical bridge between raw data and biological insights. Our team of experienced bioinformaticians will work closely with investigators to design studies, analyze complex datasets, and translate computational findings into actionable research outcomes.
Mission
The UMMC Research Computing and Bioinformatics Core Facility will promote and facilitate faculty and student research through advanced computational analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and other high-throughput biological data. The Core will serve as a hub for developing bioinformatics expertise, providing educational programs, and enhancing the competitive edge of researchers at UMMC and across Mississippi.
