AirCare

As a Comprehensive Stroke Center, the Stroke Center at UMMC is equipped to receive stroke patients transferred from other facilities that cannot provide advanced services. Operating under the Mississippi Center for Emergency Services, AirCare provides helicopter transport for patients who need emergency, advanced care in Jackson.

Staffed by clinicians with advanced emergency care training, AirCare helicopters are based in Jackson, Meridian, Columbus and Greenwood.
