Image Long Description - Incoming Aircraft Information

The image is a map of the city of Jackson showing approximately 1.25 square mile with the UMMC campus in the center, Lakeland Drive to the north, I-55 to the east, Riverside Drive to the south, and Mississippi Veterans Memorial stadium to the west of the UMMC campus.  The first helicopter is to exit the UMMC helipad in an westerly direction toward Mississippi Veterans Memorial stadium as shown by the arrow labeled H1. The second helicopter is to exit the UMMC helipad in an easterly direction toward I-55 as shown by the arrow labeled H2.  Any helicopter waiting to off-load a patient will use the space located to the south of the UMMC campus between E. Woodrow Wilson Avenue and Riverside Drive as shown in the circle labeled "Holding Pattern."
